Well, let's begin with my expectation, shall we? i prefer to host GAY MALE; not for the sexual intention if that's what you have in your mind - i just feel like hosting same mindset people; and because it is my home, i have the choice, non? ;> (thanks for understanding lol) My apartment is quite big (76 m²) by Parisian standard. There is a big, bright living room cum dining room, a kitchen, a master bedroom, a guest-room, a bathroom and a separate toilet. You will sleep in the guestroom in any usual case, on a comfortable sofa bed. You can be as independent as you wish, and you can enjoy total privacy (that doesn't mean you can do any drug at my home though ;). There is wifi in the apartment. My apartment is located at the west of Paris, in 16th arrondisment. It's very close to Trocadero and Eiffel Tower. From here to the central Paris, it only takes 15 mins by train - but you can even walk along the Seine river and view many famous buildings/park/square along the way! PAY FULL ATTENTION TO THE POINT BELOW PLEASE: I belong to a group which men who prefer men (if you wonder what that calls, it's GAY lol), but I am not only choosing gay people to host. A guest is a guest, I host friends outside of CS and I have never enforced my personal lifestyle to anyone. Having said that, i respect my guests and i hope my guests return the same favour to me. You can see on my profile that i practice nude yoga, but well, i never do that at home. I PAY to do it with a group of men. once there're these two surfers asking me 'not to do nude yoga in front of them' when they sent me a couch request, oh well, you know better, they are rejected lol Being my guest, I'll ask you to: 1/ help me cleaning the apartment (vaccuming, washing the dishes, etc...) and keeping it clean. 2/ leave the apartment the way you found it, putting back the couches and the cushions the way they were before you slept and tidying your bags esp. not to leave it in the middle of the flat. I prefer hosting maximum 3 days, but everything can change and I do like exceptions according to the exchange I have with my guests, it's a question of feeling. I study hospitality and if i am available, i don't mind showing my guests around ;> if you can handle my craziness, send me a request. PLUS: I rarely am home on my own. Staying at my place therefore is possible only occasionally. But if it does not work out, I'm happy to meet intelligent and cheerful people for a lunch or a drink.
I live in the 14th arrondissement--south of everything even moderately famous in this museum of a city. The entrance to my building is between a chocolate shop and a florist. (my block also includes a used book store, a lebanese take-out stand, and a cement clearing with some benches that I suppose is someone's idea of a park) Once you climb into the glass elevator and ascend to the sixth floor, you will find my abode in all of its eighteen square meters of glory. The interior comes complete with a spare mattress, two skylights, AND MY CAT-Lucie. Sometimes the interior may also include you. you (noun) a pleasant individual who has read my profile and found some clue in these musings that we may get along. you, hypothetically, have thoughtfully included these points of interest in a concise couch request which includes the dates of your prospective visit (probably 2-3 nights in length), a little about yourself and why i might desire to host you, and you have respectfully sent this couch request at least a week ahead of your hopeful arrival. you are also one or two persons at the most, are in possession of a sleeping bag, and are at least proficient in a common language with yours truly(there are a lot them, so i hope that isn't too much of a problem...). i also accept bribes of cash, jewels, alcohol, or items that may have come in physical contact with individuals of a celebrated nature. (i am really pulling for Justin Timberlake here.) I hate to do this, but it seems that I must include a kind of password so that I know you have read my couch info. PLEASE INCLUDE YOUR FAVORITE BEATLES SONG IN YOUR COUCH REQUEST. if you do not have a favorite, please say "blackbird" because that is mine. if you fail to include this information, i probably will not host you, unless you are really really adorable.

I live in a small studio in the heart of Paris i.e. right in the centere of Paris. You should know that I am a Ph.D. student and that places are small yet very expensive in Paris. So you should know beforehand that there is just one couch in my room which can be unfolded into a double bed. In addition to that, there is some place on the floor for one person to sleep as well, (i have a thin matella (foam), which can be spread on the floor and one could sleep over it). A small toilette & bathroom is also inside the studio. There is also a small kitchenette but its practical only for cooking the simple and uncomplicated things! :|You can use things in the room but buy your own food. There's a metro station just 100 meters away. By the way, beware that my place is not wheelchair accessible, since you have to climb half a floor to reach the entrance of my building, and then my studio is on the 3rd floor. In Paris, I would be happy to show you some sights if you want. Since I go to the university, so during weekdays, I will only have time during the evenings, but we could do a city tour during the weekends.
I'm living in my own tiny apartment in the north of Paris close to Gare du Nord and Sacre Coeur. It is in a lively neighborhood with lots of shops, bars and restaurants. My apartment is basically one big room in the shape of an "L". I can offer you a mattress or an air mattress on the floor. If you're alone we can split up the apartment so that everyone has their own space (one stroke of the "L") and a bit of privacy. If there is two of you it'll be a little bit cramped but it is possible. Blankets and a sleeping bag are available. Famous Montmartre with it's artists and Museums is just a 5-10 minute walk away. The Gare du Nord (one of Paris' main subway stations) is really close and with the metro you will be at all the sights in less than 20 minutes. Since I just moved to Paris this year I'm still pretty new to the city myself and I'm still discovering all it has to offer. I would love to show people around. Hosting on weekdays and weekends is both fine wih me. I can host for about 3-5 days but of course this might vary according to the circumstances.

In the mid of moving to student halls... I'll probably offer a matress on the floor in my room or a sofa if I'm lucky. The kitchen will be communal, but I'll have my own bathroom, both of which you'll be free to use. The halls are located in a beautiful park in the south of Paris, you'll be surrounded by trees and birdsongs yet stay within Paris. In the summer the campus is great fun, as all the halls organise parties and people pic-nic and play ball on the main lawn. Walking distance from the chinese neighbourhood which has many cheap restaurants. The chinese neighbourhood also hosts a huge food&clothes market (not chinese though)on sundays. Another closeby neighbourhood is more "bobo" (bourgeois bohème) and hosts cheap restaurants and bars, in a french laid-back style. You will meet a lot of students there. I'm located on the B line which takes you to the center of Paris (Chatelet) in less than 15 minutes. This line also takes you to both Roissy Charles de Gaulle and Orly airports, and the Gare du Nord.
I live in the center of Paris (10 min to go to Notre Dame in bus), in a really safe area. I live with a flat-mate, and she's traveled a lot too. But therefor we don't have a spare key to lend you during your stay... My additional "couch room" has one single bed and I can put a mattress for 2 people on the floor. I have no pet and can't host pets (sorry, I'm too allergic...) I don't smoke but smoking on the balcony is ok. Public transportation : metro 6 "Glacière", 7 " Gobelins", bus n°83, 21, 27, 91 I have blankets, pillows, towels.....everything one can need. I prefer to go to sleep late, umh midnight, 1am, 2am ?!! Umh, let's say 3 or 4 days max for a start I can cook pretty well...so bring any strange ingredients you like, and I'll stew and brew it all. I don't have enough time to show people around all day, sorry....my studies take too much time, but I can take half a day during your stay to show you around, and I'm usually free in the evening and we.
Hi, my name is Nicolas, I am 23 years old and live in paris in a flat with 2 other friends. I work for audiovisual companies as a video editor and graphic designer. I make some photography and music too. I'm now travelling around the States since two months, I almost did couchsurfing but I heard from this website so I'm just new on it ! For now I met really cool people and I hope to have others positive experiences through globalfreeloaders until I go back to Paris after that 3 months trip. I enjoy meeting people and share experiences, I'm easy going and open minded. our flat is next to "place d'italie" in the 13th arrondissement, so from here you can easily visit the city. three subway lines from place d'italie station, a lot of bus stops, bikes to rent for one euro per day (velib). we are three friends living in that flat, me, a guy and a girl. the couch is a convertible sofa for two people in the living room.
A spare mattress with the bed made in my 2 bed house, Basse Normandie. One hour to Paris by train. Nearest village with medical centre, bars, cafes and shops is 7km from me. I have land and many eating apple trees! Public transport is good here and the train station is 15mins away by car. I can offer a place to stay and a hot drink, but I do not have enough money to support anyone with loads of food, so you will have to buy your own food, but use the house as if it were yours. This is a great place if you like to live off of the land. I have apples, pears, walnuts, plums and cherrie trees. I grow my own veg and always need a hand caring, weeding and eating them! I live as green as I can! The only thing I ask is to tidy up after yourself and to keep your area clean and I will do the same where ever I go. If you love the countryside you will love it here! And so close to paris I am in a good area.
