a very very small converted 2 bhk house (that's the fancy terminology used by the estate brokers. bhk stands for bedroom-living hall-kitchen.) we have two bedrooms. one small and the other one even smaller. The balcony is the kitchen and the kitchen is the bedroom. confused? perhaps thats why it is called a converted two bhk house. anyways we get along fairly well. i share the apartment with a girl (we have a third friend who's moved in with us now.) our house is on a noisy street but thankfully on the fifth floor. we have an awesome sea-view. a fishing village (fishing village is anotehr fancy name for it. it is a small model of the famous Bombay slums.)separates us from the sea. our house is comfortable. lots of mattresses and cushions (no othe rfurniture to spk of.) nice lamps, a rocking chair, tv, music system, lots of music cds and books. we are fairly centrally located and a minimum auto ride to the locan train station. auto, taxis, buses and trains are very easily available. food could be a problem. we rarely get the time to cook apart from weekends. but we have a stove and a gas connection so if you can cook we are willing to help you finish it. (if you're a kind soul you can cook us lots of extra food which we'll preserve in the refrigerator.)

I stay in a flat located in suburbs of Mumbai, which is around 45 mins from airport.Bus stop is nearby, but you may need to change buses to get to the centre.Railway station is like 20 mins from my place from there it would take 45 mins to reach south Bombay(i would love to take you on local train adventure!) I would be able to offer you a couch/bed and can host maximum 2 people as its not a large space. I stay with my Mother(real host)who is mostly at home. Can host both on weekdays and weekends.I would be able to spend time with you during evening on weekdays and i am mostly free on weekends. You need to leave my house when i am leaving for work. I live in town ( Mazgaon- Dockyard ) it might be like 40 mins drive from the airport ( could take less time during off peak hours ).....i work at bandra 30 mins from my place ........to talk more about about where i live....its a quite little neighbourhood near the southeast part of Mumbai...Mazgoan Docks is something which is known for warship building and also the docks are closeby....as most of the prime locations are nearby too.....the Gateway of india, musuems, galleries, restaurants, clubs are pretty close...neareast railway station is dockyard road station 4 mins walking distance........if i get time...wouldnt mind showing you this city.....i always recommend travellers to try to explore the non touristy things in Mumbai....just write me before you dropping down to this city .....weekends is the best time....no pets, no issues with going to bed early or late as long you dont demand me to sing good night songs for you, smoking is fine unless you dont get the house on fire, recommend to get sleeping bags....if i can i will defintely host you......cheers....2 or 3 days are fine....i have internet...you can use my netbook for important stuff....you think you can cook some stuff you are always welcome...i stay with another friend of mine.....
Hi, I'm a 34 year old creative writer and advertising professional from Mumbai, India. I'm looking for a few like minded people who would like to accompany me on a 7-8 day trance and rave hopping trip to Goa. This will be somewhere in the 3rd week of November. Dates will be finalised in the last week of September. Goa is like a 2nd home to me since the past 8 years and I've been following the rave seene in Goa religiously since then. I'm a carefree, happy go lucky free soul who lives in the moment and doesn't give a crap about the future. I prefer collecting friends and memories to collecting pay slips and degrees. This time, I'd like to meet some new people, make some crazy friends from around the world and have a time to remember. I'll take care of the accomodation if there are only 2-3 people. If we have more than that, we'll figure it out. I'll be mostly driving down from Mumbai to Goa and back, so you're welcome tojoin me from Mumbai too. Oh, one more thing, I'll have most of the 'trip' stuff with me, so 'tripping' won't be an issue ;) So, well then, that's about it. Let's do it. If anyone's excited about this, leave a reply. We can take it further from there. Chao!
I live in a single room at dormitory . I have no "classical" bed to offer because I never used a bed myself. I sleep on the floor on a big good mattress and you will have a big and good one too. But if you want I can arrange for bed (which I have intentionally placed outside my room to have more space and more fun). Its not a big room since its meant for students but we can work it out. There are lots of books on spirituality, philosophy ,comics and novels and since i don't need all you can have a few. I live at IIT Bombay which is at the moment the best engineering college of India . Its in powai ..a bit far from centre of mumbai. But it won't take more than an hour to reach to any corner of city from my room . You can use internet facility from my room plus we have cafeteria at our dormitory . If I have time then I can take you to nearby spots. BTW we have a lake in our university and also few hills nearby and my university shares boundary with a national park..which means its awesome. You can have my bicycle if you need . Smoking in balcony
I live in a quaint 60-year-old little villa in the heart of Mumbai in a place called Dadar which has connections to almost everywhere in Mumbai thanks to the efficient bus, train and taxi services. My home has two bedrooms, a dining room, kitchen and living room. There is a spare couch in the living room which has air con. I can host one person of either sex at a time. I am a lifestyle journalist and I live with my parents (as do most young people my age here in India!)My mum runs a catering business so food (breakfast and dinner) is no problem, but I do expect you to pitch in and give us a taste of your country. I also expect you to respect our house rules which includes no smoking/drugs and no foul language please. Other than that we love meeting people and having them over (maximum a week). After work I would love to show you around my lovely city and maybe take you to a couple of parties which I get to go to a lot being a celebrity journalist. So, welcome guys!
Got a spare bedroom in my 3 bedroom apartment which i use as a guest room. Got everything in my home from Colour TV to cable tv, internet, washing machine, microwave, air-conditioning etc.. Live all alone. Don't have pets. But yes, i do smoke and an occasional drinker. Lots of entertaining sites as well as historic sites very near and around my place. Public transportation is available in the form of cabs, buses and auto rickshaws as well as my own car., but then my car is personal transportation! lol.. Would love to show you around if i am not too busy with work, but yes i will surely make a little time for you. A night owl, usually go to bed very late (past midnight) but wake up around 8 every morning. Can host you anytime of the week. Have everything in my home. Too many is 4 days or more. You will sleep on proper beds in a proper bedroom, with proper mattresses, pillows and blankets and air conditioning.
Mad Bad Wild Mumbai city is rich in art, culture, films, Bollywood, diversity in life style and party whole night. I stay in a center of Mumbai known as Bandra West. The place is full of activities, sprawling with pubs, lounges, professionals, cafe's, theater's, and sea side. I have a big room, and you have to share the room with me. Mostly food is cooked at home, so you can share what i eat. Or you feel like you are free to use the kitchen and cook for both of us :) I like food so like cooking also, and i am a good cook of Indian foods, so you can look forward to praise my cooking. Due to free mind i have no restrictions in home. The sea walk is five minutes away. All the major stations, airports are 20-30 minutes away depending upon the traffic. In Mumbai everything is home delivered - medicines, food or booze. So it is all about enjoying the best of life in every moment.
