Small room with a recliner and a sectional(with fold out bed). I live in a one-room apartment so the other room's mine, obviously. I live right at the cusp of the city, so if you for some reason were to want to go downtown, it'd be a short 25 minute walk and a much shorter drive. If you have cash for the bus there's a stop on my corner of the street. As for the downtown: There are plenty of things to do, there's a comic book shop, a comedy club, live theatre, two movie theatres(a lot, right?), pubs, state museum(with an IMAX) restaurants and an assortment of clubs. If you want to use the kitchen: I don't have a problem with you using a little food for a two day stay(probably a week at max), but if you stay longer you'd have to buy your own just because I don't have a lot of cash. Also, the building is secure so I'd have to obtain my extra key to allow for convience, as a result I'd need a small bit of notice about any visit.
Spare bed and/or air mattress in small 3 bedroom home not too far from downtown Indy. I live on a side street in a nice 80 year old, 3 bedroom house. I am reasonably close to quite a few things, including downtown. There is a bus stop at the end of my street; Grocery store & fast food within walking distance. You're welcome to use the kitchen while here, but please clean up afterwards, and I would like some reimbursement for food. I'm willing to work with travelers to help out-- just ask. If I can't do it myself, I'll try to find someone who can. Also-- house is home to 4 cats & 4 birds, but they're all well-behaved. If you've got bad allergies, tho, this probably isn't a good place to stay.
Mattress and couch on the floor of family room. This is a 'hood so I wouldn't recommend for anyone without a sense of adventure. Seriously - cannot emphasize this enough - I don't have a problem having cousins, nephew, etc. stay here but mom/dad definitely I wouldn't feel comfortable. Only because they wouldn't feel comfortable staying here in the 'hood. Just trying to be very honest about the neighborhood and what to expect. House (duplex) location is 3.3 miles east of downtown Indianapolis. Definitely room for a car if you are driving (which I would recommend in Indianapolis area since public transportation is lousy here).
2 spare bedrooms in a house on the near east side of downtown Indianapolis. It's a comfortable walk to the city's center (you can see the skyline from my neighborhood), but there are also many convenient bus stops all around, if you're heading somewhere further away. I host exchange students sometimes, so the bedrooms may be in use during your stay, but there is always the couch and aerobed. :) Feel free to use the kitchen while you are here, but you'll have to buy your own food. No drugs, and if you smoke- please do it outside. Enjoy exploring this Midwestern town!
Finished basement, bedroom, family room, bath and kitchen.Nothing fancy, but very comfortable and clean. Half mile fome huge mall, dining, movies. walking distance to library, very nice park (2 blocks) 13 mile from international airport. also on busline. Great safe location, great quite neighborhood where we all watch out for each other. I work at the airport so if you are flying we could probably work something out on transportation. All we ask is that you are clean, respectful, and leave your space as you found it. Looking forward to your stay!

A few rooms available with private bath. One is empty with no furniture, one with kid size bunk beds and my room with a queen size bed. Hot Tub on back deck and Theater Room. I travel often and when I'm in town, I have my 9 year old daughter staying with me. Home is large, clean and located on the southeast side of Indianapolis. Public transportation not that great so you may want to rent a car. Airport approx. 15 minutes away. Feel free to use Kitchen but you would need to purchase your own food.
I have an extra room with its own television, futon that converts into a bed, playstation2 game system and own bathroom right nest to it. It is quiet and at the opposite end of the home from the master suite. I have an extra room with a treadmill, weight bench with weights and dumbbells, exercise bike. Living room space feature large screen TV, DVD player and surround sound. Only 15 minutes from Downtown Indianapolis. Food will need to be purchased on your own. Gas Barbeque is available for use
Small room or living room (not sure yet) with twin-sized bed or couch in a medium-sized apartment in suburb of Indianapolis. Close to shopping districts, bars, clubs, restaurants, etc. Will provide free transportation when available. Feel free to use the kitchen as long as you supply your own food. Feel free to hang out in the living room, watch TV, whatever. I have somewhat extensive knowledge of Indianapolis and will act as tour guide if you so desire. Stay as long as you like.
i live with two people and a dog in a 3 bedroom house on the north side of downtown indianapolis. pretty cool neighborhood (herron morton). i work a lot, so i wouldn't be able to play tourguide most likely, but there is public transport and you may also use my bike to easily get around town. sleeping arrangements will be figured out when i know how many people i am able to host at that time *i'd prefer not to host more than 1 or 2 people at a time, just for my roomates' sakes.
